Create a Team – Become a Team Captain

The easiest way to get involved is to form a team on your own: You, a few of your friends, roommates, neighbors, etc. Student organizations such as fraternities and sororities, as well as other campus groups often put together teams as well. Ask at your organization’s next group meeting. The key is to REGISTER EARLY! Each sport has its own registration period. To find out when that is for each sport, check our IM Sports Planner

1. . If this is your first time playing, you will need to create an account with your ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ email address
2. After logging into IMLeagues, click on the “Intramurals” link on your home page and find the sport you wish to join.
3. Choose the league you wish to play in (Men’s , Women’s, Co-Rec).
4. Choose a division to play in (Monday 9 p.m., Tuesday 7 p.m., etc.) if applicable.
5. Click “Create Team”.
6. Follow the prompts to complete the process and send team invitations to prospective team members if applicable.
7. Divisions fill up on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Join a Team

Another easy way to get involved is to join a team that is already created. This could be a group of friends, roommates, suitemates, or members in various student organizations, etc. Occasionally, there may be teams that don’t have a full roster and may indicate they are “Looking for Players”; you can request to join their team as well.

1. . If this is your first time playing, you will need to create an account with your ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ email address
2. If you have received a team invitation, click on your notifications in the top right corner (in red) and accept your pending invitation.
3. Otherwise, click on the “Intramurals” link on your home page and select a sport, league, and division of your choice.
4. A list of teams playing in that division will be listed and you select the team you wish to join by clicking “Join Team”.
5. A message will be sent to the captain of the team you asked to join, once captain has given approval you will be added to the roster.

Become A Free Agent

If you are still looking for a team, you can list yourself as a free agent for any particular sport. You will be visible to all members of the site and can request to join teams or post information about yourself so teams can request to add you to their team.

2. After logging into IMLeagues, click on the “Intramurals” link on your home page and find the sport and league you wish to join.
3. A list of all the divisions within that league will load; look at each league carefully, noticing dates and times each division plays.
4. Click the “Join As Free Agent” button listed for each division
5. Select the divisions you are available to play and click “Submit”
