Lisa Nash

Overview
Dr. Lisa Nash brings more than 30 years of experience in the accounting profession, including 25 years of teaching at the collegiate level. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Doctor of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Marshall University, and her Master of Accountancy from Franklin University. A licensed CPA, Dr. Nash’s professional background includes public accounting, taxation, auditing, and consulting. She teaches courses in Financial Accounting and Federal Income Tax.
Her research focuses on audit and tax implications related to retirement plans and employee fringe benefits, as well as accounting education and experiential learning. Outside of work, Dr. Nash enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and cook.
