Some Evergreen Learning certificate programs prepare participants for industry-recognized certification exams.

No. Evergreen Learning courses are non-credit and do not earn college credit or apply toward a college degree.

No. Evergreen Learning courses are open to the public and do not require admission to the University of North Georgia.

Evergreen Learning courses are designed for adult learners. Unless otherwise noted in the course description, participants must be 18 years of age or older.

No. Evergreen Learning courses are open to the public and do not require transcripts or prior academic records.

We encourage you to register as early as possible. Early registration helps secure your seat and allows us to confirm course offerings in advance. Some courses fill quickly or require minimum enrollment to be offered.

Yes. If a course is full, you may add yourself to the waitlist during online registration or by contacting our office.

If a seat becomes available, participants will be contacted in the order they were added to the waitlist. Once notified, participants have 48 hours to register before the seat is offered to the next person on the waitlist.

No payment is required to join a waitlist.

Full payment is due at the time of registration.

Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

If you are registering someone else, please provide the participant's information first, followed by the payment information for the cardholder.

Yes. We accept company purchase orders. Please contact Evergreen Learning before registering for payment instructions.

Because Evergreen Learning courses do not lead to a college degree, they are not eligible for traditional financial aid programs such as the HOPE Scholarship.

Private lenders may offer financing for continuing education or certificate programs.

Most Evergreen Learning courses do not require textbooks, software, or additional course materials. Any required materials will be identified in the course description.

Evergreen Learning courses are offered on multiple University of North Georgia campuses, online, and at partner locations. The course description will identify the location and delivery format.

Participants who successfully complete a course or certificate program and meet the course completion requirements will receive a certificate of completion, unless otherwise noted in the course description.

Evergreen Learning provides workforce training and professional development but does not offer formal job placement or career counseling services.

If Evergreen Learning cancels a course for any reason, you may choose to:

• Receive a full refund, or
• Transfer to an equivalent course (when available).

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your registration, you must notify Evergreen Learning in writing at least three full business days before the course start date.

• A processing fee equal to 20% of the program fee will be deducted from your refund.
• No refunds will be issued for cancellations received within three business days of the course start date.
• If Evergreen Learning cancels a course, participants will receive a full refund or may transfer to an equivalent course, if available.

Transfer Policy

Participants may transfer to another class of equal or greater value by notifying Evergreen Learning in writing at least three business days before the course begins.

• A transfer fee equal to 10% of the program fee will apply.
• The new class must already be scheduled.
• Transfers must be completed within the same fiscal year (July 1 – June 30).

Substitution Policy

Participants may substitute another individual for their registration by notifying Evergreen Learning in writing at least three business days before the course begins.

• A substitution fee equal to 5% of the program fee will apply for each participant/course.

Evergreen Learning follows the University of North Georgia's campus closure and delay decisions. If a ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ campus is closed or operating on a delayed schedule due to inclement weather or another emergency, Evergreen Learning activities at that campus will be canceled or delayed accordingly.
